Please note:  Sikh Coins are dated in the V.S. era.  Conversion is -  V.S. year - 57  = A.D. year

In short: KM numbering is quite convoluted, but catalog itself is generally nice to look at.  Mr. Hans Herrli's book "The Coins of the Sikhs", is vital for the serious Sikh coin collector.  It is however out of print, and apparently awaiting several changes/updates in a new edition.  It's very much hoped that logistics and economics make it possible sooner than later.
